Risk Assessment

Please ensure that you are fully aware of the rules for group runs as set out in the “Resumption of Club Activities” spreadsheet.

Please take care on uneven ground,  watch out for trip hazards and be conscious that we are running on some open roads.

Start with 5mins dynamic stretches (star jumps, high knees, skip,  greek dancing)

1.5k. W/up

Group  1

4 x 1200 meters   pace = threshold/brisk

Group 2 & 3

6 x 800 meters  pace = threshold/brisk

1.5k cool down.
(COACH CORNER ;THRESHOLD (THR) or BRISK – Around your target half-marathon pace (85% WHR). ”BRISK” sometimes refers to half marathon pace while “THRESHOLD” refers to 10 mile pace. Often described as feeling ‘comfortably hard’ aim to hit about an 8 on a perceived exertion scale of 10.)
