Please take care on uneven ground,  watch out for trip hazards and be conscious that we are running on some open roads

Theme: getting used to race pace!

Always warm up and cool down. Before running loosen up with 5 mins of dynamic stretches.  INCLUDING A DECENT JOG WARM UP AROUND THE CARPARK!!!

1k warm up

Group 1.  12k Steady in addition to warm up/cool down

Group 2.  10k Steady in addition to warm up/cool down

Group 3.  8k Steady in addition to warm up/cool down

1k cool down

Leaders to decide routes for Group 1, 2 & 3

steady pace (refer to COACH CORNER)

After running static stretches to cool and relax used muscles

Coach corner • STEADY – A comfortable but purposeful pace similar to your race  pace (10k upwards)   (65-75%WHR). you shouldn’t be able to say more than a few words.
