An intrepid team from the club completed 260kms in 24 hours at TR24 2018 a 10km cross country relay with the aim being to run as far as possible in 24 hours. It was a baking hot July day in stark contrast to TR24 2017 with 16 hours of torrential rain turning the course into a mud bath.

Chairman Chas presided over the presentations and the winners were:-
Handicap Race Award - Winner Diane Burgess, Runner Up Julia Hindle

The weather God's conspired against us and the other several thousand runners all camping out at TR24. Sunny and bright for the first few hours of this 24 hour endurance event last until tea time on Saturday but soon disintegrated when the heavens opened and the deluge of rain that was going to last for the next 16 hours commenced.
The idea was that each ...
